Volunteer

We would like to thank all of our volunteers for contributing to the efforts of the Kern Autism Network, Inc! Our events rely heavily on community volunteers and we welcome those who wish to offer their time to volunteer for our local organization. To volunteer at one of our events, please complete the Volunteer Form below and fax to 661-489-3334 or e-mail to us, one week prior to any events we may host. Submitting a volunteer application and LiveScan background/fingerprint clearance must be submitted at the same time for approval of volunteers over the age of 18, no exceptions. Contact our office for further information regarding the LiveScan process that is done by the Department of Justice and required paperwork. In addition, for community volunteers or service providers the same holds true, along with written permission from the agency or business you represent. Service hours for high school programs or intern purposes are offered with approved documentation. All high school volunteers must have parent signature on volunteer form, before submitting to our office. Our commitment to our children’s safety is a priority we uphold. Thank you for your willingness to volunteer for an organization that brings good things to our community to recognize autism awareness and support.
